Remarriage Workshop: Many of the dynamics of a remarriage are unique and this workshop is open to couples already remarried or considering remarriage. Topics include blending families, step-parenting, couple expectations, co-parenting, communication, conflict resolution, step-parent/step-child development, finances (#2 reason for step-family breakup), legal issues, and more in this ten-week class. Developed and led by several step-families, this workshop is unique in Southern California. Come for a free preview on September 21 in NC135 at 9:00 a.m.

YOURS, MINE, AND OURS: We are a support group for couples who have brought at least one child of any age from a previous relationship into their current relationship. No matter how much parenting experience you've had, being a step parent is a whole new ball game. We help each other navigate the complex waters of the step family system. We plan to meet the 2nd Saturday of every month. We would like to make it a Potluck at 6:00 pm. Stepparent Group: Meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6:45 - 8:15pm. No Charge.A time for encouragement, discussion, teaching, sharing, and praying with and for stepparents! The goal of this ministry is to provide stepparents with the tools to aide in developing healthier families and to promote a deeper, more intimate relationship between husbands and wives, with Christ at the center!

The Blended Family Ministry - at Mariners Church in Irvine "The Blended Family Ministry meets on the third Saturday of the month from 5 to 7 pm in a new room "Above the Worship Center". The ministry is a study group designed for those in stepfamilies, considering remarriage or divorced with children. Topics include stepfamily development, ex-spouses, step parenting, discipline and the difficulty of merging finances.
